Youth Violence Prevention Coalition

The Pima County Youth Violence Prevention Coalition is a collaboration of community members, service providers, and stakeholders dedicated to building and fostering a community for nonviolence and inclusion with youth, for youth.

The Youth Violence Prevention Coalition's goals for 2018-2021 are to:

  • Increase access to violence prevention tools for members of Pima County who work with youth.

  • Promote a shared framework for violence prevention among community partners in Pima County who work with youth.

  • Support and sustain a youth violence prevention coalition in Pima County.

The YVP Coalition meets in-person the third Thursday of every month at Metro Goodwill Youth Program, located at 300 N. 4th Avenue from 2-3:30pm with occasional exceptions.

Next Meeting: Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 2-3:30pm at Metro Goodwill.
